A base repair kit with a dedicated 120V repair iron and four P-Tex slick sticks, two black and two clear. The iron reaches about 430°F to melt polyethylene into scratches and gouges on ski and snowboard bases. Once cool, scrape the repair flush, then brush and wax as usual.
